Things being pretty silent
It’s been one and a half months since the last posting on the blog. So what have we been up to since? After the rounds of gigging (Paul’s Place & Starlight Cinema) and the promising reviews we’ve been getting, it’s about time to put the music into recording mode. All made possible through Senzr Studio, Taman Tun. :p
Songs like Dreams, Same Way I Do, Lazy Sunday and Rollercoaster, which we have been playing in past gigs are definitely on list. Besides that, you can probably expect to hear 2 newer tracks (New Years Day & a yet to be named track) in the near future.
Do stay tune cos there’s loads of things in store in months to come; the long-awaited demo/EP, more gigs on the way, Bala settling down (not!!). Cheers!
Superbar is changing their name
After making a commitment to our fans, and listening to their advice, we have decided as a band to change our name. We got this idea for a name from a fan currently identified as Incube, who posted this on his website.
” aku rasa band suren ni patut tukar nama jadi supersuren ..” - taknak.blogspot.com
After careful consideration, we realised that he was right. SuperSuren does sound infinitely more catchy.
Besides… who wears the pants (and cool hat) in the band anyway?

Ever Had Your Name Corrected by a Search Engine?
It appears that Big’ol Google is getting a lil’ bit too smart. This whole issue came up when our guitarist, Sen Kiat, decided to see if our website was listed in Google 
See for yourself what happened when he Google’d it:
Goole says “Your name is incorrect”
I can’t imagine anything worse…lol…
We have our own domain now, at www.SuperbarMusic.com so get it in your minds!

Planet Hollywood was a BLAST!!!
Yah yah i know… I din inform anyone about the exact time for the planet hollywood thing
That’s because the organizers for Asian Beat had us come in the morning to draw lots, and we had to wait for hours b4 we got to play at all…
Stupid Yamaha….
I’m sure no one would have wanted to come to Planet at 2.00pm, right? Hehehe……
Anyways, this got our band going again… it been like a year since we got our act to gether for a gig, and we are confident of making it to the next round…. so stay tuned!!
